Our Process
Our yak chews are made from a HACCP-certified facility with rigorous quality assurance to ensure the top quality for our customers.
Our journey begins with the collection of fresh yak and cow milk from local farmers. The milk undergoes pasteurization at over 85°C to eliminate bacteria. We then add fresh lime juice and salt, separating curd from whey. The curds are pressed for 15 hours and cut into sizes.
Next, the cheese bars are smoked and air-dried for over 30 days, followed by UV exposure to eradicate any remaining bacteria or viruses. Finally, each product undergoes rigorous quality assurance testing to guarantee top quality.
